Cleveland Manor Carnival workers, Gateway Healthcare Update

Kiwanis volunteered at Cleveland Manor Fun Day

Several Kiwanians volunteered at the inaugural Cleveland Manor (CM) Family Fun Day event.  Weather cooperated, many residents and family attended, along with the BOD and staff at CM.  It was a carnival theme and there were many games to be played, food & drink, prizes, and more.  Kiwanis was highlighted for the gazebo and dog run that we helped to make happen.  A FUN event!

Kiwanians updated on Gateway Healthcare

Jim Mier, Clinic Director of Gateway Healthcare, provided an overview of their operations serving residents who are financially vulnerable over the past 4 years.  Gateway has served over 8,000 clients with 1 in 4 being under 17 yo and the 22-45 yo being their large segment in their client base.  Much community support from individual donors has supported this mission.  Our Kiwanis Club helped to provide funding in support of sports physicals this year.
